Getting more out of your Vertical Jump

Hi,
So you want to increase your vertical jump? You could always use springs, well strong springs then. Just messing around! How much higher would you like to jump? Would an extra 10” make a difference to your game? For me it certainly would have and did. Like most of us I have a full time job, not a great lover of the gym, so I play basketball in my spare time, love the game and it gives me the exercise I need. My full time job is working in front of the screen, the only exercise I get there is when I get up to make a coffee, and walking in and out of the building, going out is always faster than coming in!

But I digress, back to the matter in hand. Some of the other courses out there that offer to increase your vertical jump are good in parts, almost as if they are written by professionals in nutrition, or fitness, but lacking the finer points. None of the ones I have tried were bad, but rather incomplete. Then a friend of mine told me about the “Jump Manual”, I thought well, I’ll have a look but never held out much hope. But after getting it, it is anything but just a manual. Personally, I think that the name “Jump Manual” is not the best, It implies that it is a reference book, that maybe you would only read a small part of it, like having an excyloodia, look up what you want, maybe read that page, then up on the shelf untill next time.

This is NOT the case with the “Jump Manual”, you get the manual in the form of a video course, it goes through every thing, all your excersise etc, and I think that this is  the good part, if you have some questions, there is some one at the end, via email, who knows what they are on about and  actually gets back to you!

Don’t think that you can sit in your arm chair and increase your vertical jump, chairs don’t do that! You need to put in the effort and time to get the results. But if you are like me, have limited time, I want to make best use of my time, so the training that I do wants to be as effective as I can make it, I found that that is exactly what I got from the “Jump Manual”, why not have a look yourself, I am sure that you will be pleasantly surprised

Most effective way to increase vertical jump?

January 11th, 2010

Im looking for the most effective thing to increase my vertical jump?Im aiming for like to increase it by like 15 inches.Im not looking for 15 inches in 3 months im not stupid.I just want some typ of thing i can do for the next couple months that i can do that can give me Good results.

Make SURE to stretch —Ankle weights are really good… Do lunges with them on— and even play Basket ball with them on.. Squats with light weight lots of reps… (((((Calf raises))))), like stand on a curb, get balanced with only lil more than tippy toes on and do reps….Say around 200, reps of 25 with stretching in between each rep. That will make your calves almost explode & be on fire…XD Other than that a just simple exercises such as almost walking like a crab on the ground real low taking semi large circular steps while sort of bouncing as you walk. space your feet apart and twist body with each step…put hands on thighs for balance untill you get the hang of it Make sure you dont over do it though it feels good (that burn) It can seriously put you out for around a week… You will barely be able to walk (so sore) So have fun and be careful

I am trying to improve my vertical jump what exercises do i need to do?

December 21st, 2009

Im trying to improve my vertical jump dramatically and i have tried many different v.jump programmes and none have great results and it’s not that i haven’t put the effort in because i have worked to my full potential but the problem i have is that i want to improve my vertical jump drastically and i really would like people who know a lot about jumping or something closely related to tell me what exercises to perform Thanks

there is an exercise that we have to do in football and track they’re called toyotas. It’s where you put your hands behind your head and go down into a squatting position and go down as far as you can go then jump up as high as you can then when you land go back into a squat. When you are in the squatting position hold it as long as you can even though it hurts. It will build your leg muscle and that will probably help you when you are jumping.

Adult Basketball Training – Pay a Very Close Attention to This !

December 3rd, 2009

If you’d like to find out about unique adult basketball training techniques then you simply must look over the information that follows – it will no doubt transform everything you now understand about basketball. What would you do if you discovered that you can enhance your abilities in the game of basketball by an impressive 30%? What’s more, you can make this progress without even leaving your chair. If you’re beginning to doubt this, or you’re saying to yourself, “that’s impossible,” continue to read this brief report – it is going to astonish you.

Before we get started, you need to be aware of a basic but significant fact – in basketball, it is not just a matter of who runs faster or jumps higher, it’s also a matter of decision-making and avoiding unnecessary mistakes on the court. The power to know your rival’s game strategy, or to know when to pass, when to dribble, and when to shoot, relates to your cognitive or thought process, in a nutshell: brain skills. The majority of people mistakenly regard these athletic abilities as something athletes are predisposed to, when in actuality, they are not “natural instincts,” but instead are completely attainable brain skills.

It’s okay if it happens that you just want to find out about unique adult basketball training techniques, or whether you are a student in junior high, highschool, or college – it’s possible to greatly improve your overall game level and statistics by “training” your brain. A team of professionals has produced a specialized solution which helps you to do just that; founded on the idea of a “video game”, all one has to do is “play” it for 30 minutes or less, 1 or 2 times per week, for a period of a few weeks – you will be amazed by the results. Professional coaches from all across the us (memphis, uconn…the list goes on) have reported dramatic improvement after one-on-one coaching sessions with players, and even entire teams, with this excellent program.

Before going on to get more information about unique adult basketball training techniques, i recommend that you experiment with this unbelievable groundbreaking software. It appears that the once unlikely dream of one day playing with the pros for a wide range of school and college players has never been closer and possible; athletes who have tried it out said their overall game improved drastically after only 20-30 days of practice.
